Gringo Pinolero part one (917kb PDF download) San-juan-del-sur.com is deeply honored to be allowed to publish, for your reading pleasure, a novel both familiar and curious, and certainly enjoyable. David Gullette's novel, GRINGO PINOLERO, is set in San Juan del Sur in two time frames--the 1850s and the year 2000. As the book begins we meet Jesse Pelletier, a gringo war veteran, who owns an hospedaje in San Juan, and is seeking to patch up his relationship with his daughter Suzy, from whom he has been estranged since divorcing Suzie's mother years ago.
