continued from san juan del sur HOME Work is already underway stripping the old road surface and preparing the base to take the sand required to set the road pavers or "adoquines" The 700 metre or so project will be completed in two stages. First from the top of the barrio to the block behind the church (In front of El Colibre Restaurant). The second phase will start at the Texaco and work back to join phase one. Melvin Munoz, Director of Public Projects for the Alcaldia proudly showed me the computer generated “Artists Impression” of the rotunda, also known as a roundabout or traffic circle that will be built just after the Texaco where the one way system starts. A large statue of the Marlin (from the SJDS logo) in the middle of the rotunda, will greet visitors to the town. Special Thanks to: Melvin Jimenez Munoz, Director of Public Projects for the Alcaldia.
