Following the meeting, Mayor Holmann started working on a plan to re design the park area. Charlie Southwell made a large donation to start the project off, followed by Mr. Ervin González, who donated the stone for the walls and the surface of the park.
The Municipality of San Juan Del Sur financed the excavation for the stone as well as the transport from León in the North West of Nicaragua.

Other important donations were from SINTER. S.A. who provided approximately C$ 30.000 Córdobas in electric cables and 14 lanterns and “Villas de Palermo” who made a donation of garden plants to be used to improve the green areas of the new Central Park. The Mayor´s Office has invested available public funds of the citizens of San Juan and to date has municipality has spent more than $ 65.000 USD on the project.
