Wanna buy an Island?

A group of “slightly crazy” (their words, not mine), creative people are floating the idea of buying a 21-acre island in Lake Nicaragua to create a permanent artistic community and to throw “Burningman-like” festivals. The project is structured like a housing co-op, with shares costing only $3,000. One hundred shareholders will equally own the project. Owning a share will give you the right to build a hut or yurt on the island. Income from guests visiting the island will be used for art projects and charitable work around Nicaragua.
