continued from san juan del sur HOME El Gato Negro Bookstore/Coffeehouse is pleased to host a discussion evening and book signing by Stephen Kinzer, author of the defiinitive book “Blood of Brothers”. This book is “The” book to have” in your collection of books on the Nicaraguan Revolution. Mr. Kinzer will be at El Gato Negro on Saturday, January 5th at 6:00pm to lead a talk on his experiences in this country as the Nicaragua Bureau Chief of the New York Times during the 80’s and to highlight the third edition of this historic book. As history repeats itself, his observations of the past and present should be very interesting. We invite you to stop by to meet Mr. Kinzer and peruse the new edition of Blood of Brothers, or get your valuable First Edition signed by the author. We know of many astute collectors in town who have those rare first editions, which would only be complete with the author’s signature. A portion of the sales of the evening will go to the A. Jean Brugger Foundation.
