Canadians win the Chicken and Define the Spirit of the BBQ Competition Two Canadians travelling through Central America (Angus and Martin) and a Nicaraguan (Jose) whom they only met the night before when they first heard about the event, took home the trophy for the best chicken dish at the 2nd Annual Stones and Waves BBQ Competition held at Rocomar. On the day of the event, the team hastily purchased groceries, borrowed a BBQ and came up with a recipe good enough to impress the judges on a blind tasting. When asked what the secret ingredients were, the reply was “Booze, Butter and Bacon, it makes everything taste good”!
